All About Z CAR Ms History 1980 – 1983
Z CAR M was a 3 head punk, new wave band established 1980 in Kaiserslautern Germany. The members were Karl-Heinz Huth, vocals, Frank Racz (Bernys brother),drums and Berny A. Racz, vocals and keyboards. They had lots of great concerts beginning the 80th.Unfortunately nothing was recorded on video as these times but they have done some basic studio recordings. The band eventually split in 1983 as of different life styles. Until today there are still original audio tapes available from rehearsals and live concerts. Afterwards Berny joined several different groups but all split up as well later on.
In 1986 Berny moved to Munich with his girlfiriend at this time and stayed there until 1991. There was a very short jamming session with some musicians in Munich. From the quantity of music recordings I these times were the most productive ones and a lot of songs were composted and recorded on 4-Channel recorder at this time. Berny went back to Kaiserslautern 1991 and met Kalle again and composed/recorded some real good tracks but there was no band reunions. Berny then went to Los Angeles for 3 month.
After Berny came back from Los Angeles 1992 he finally moved to Berlin which was his wish since the beginning 80th. He stayed there for 10 years. During this time 1995 he got married.
November 1999 Berny produced 6 songs together with his friend Robert C. Drilon (a brilliant singer) in the Philippines.
After that Berny continued composing song by song in Berlin. His wife and some other female singer offered her voice sometimes in order to sing onto a few Z CAR M tracks.
2003 Berny and his wife moved to Ireland. Also here he produced many new songs and produced video clips to the songs which can be found at YouTube.
In December 2004 a Z CAR M Song “Charisma Of Love” was published via Matchbox Recordings UK, via CDBaby and Tower Records on a Compilation CD called”Playtime”.
Z CAR M still is looking for a genuine record company !

From 1975 Berny had a lot of live gigs and once in a while he performed alone on stage in Irland.
